:shrug: I cant find any of the right cap tube, so i use a 1/8 OD tube. I thought that by useing enuff to equal the resistance of a .031 tube dose this work? For me i have not gotton the temps i want, but i know i need a different freon with a lower temp. Is there any one that can help?

Using 1/8OD vs .031" your going to need...... alot, lets put it that way, so much, most likely enough that you wont be happy to buy that much.
Simply go to www.under-the-ice.com and order yourself 10ft of .031".

i all ready have about 32 feet, but most i put in side a heat exchanger that i made. It works good i can get down to -32c under a load but i want to try and be like you guys that get -40c & -50c. i think.

What sorta load you have on it? Those temps are very good depending on that. Alot of those -50C and so are unloaded. Even -40C these days on a quad isnt easy.

1/8" 32feet?
damn man, get decent captube. 7-8feet of 0,031" will make it good and keeping decent load.

If that can keep a pentium at 5.4ghz load with the evap head at -30c, then I'd say its good enough. You could always do as tim said and buy some .031" tubing instead, and that will make it easier to tune and will be neater, but it seems to me you already have a pretty nice unit on your hands.

Honestly, if you don't plan on switching cpus for a while, you probably won't need to worry about tuning issues. But even if you do decide to switch to yorkfield, I wouldn't be surprised if your pentium consumes more power than a 45nm quadcore, especially considering smithfield die is 206mm^2 and each wolfdale die (yorkfield is two wolfdale dual cores on a single pcb in case you didn't know) is only a mere 107mm^2. So your heat load would probably be a little less on a yorkfield than pentium D
