Ill be doing my Mod this weekend i guess and Hopefully be 756 stable on my CoRe...I Know it will do 729mhz but need that Extra juice...Hopefull my air mod will handle it..

Im shooting for 756mhz/1782/2308... then im done...I just want to see the max i can hit on Air before i take it to water maybe...:ROTF:

It should, you may wanna get a 2k or 5k as well though in case it gives to high a voltage even when tuned to 1k.

i did this mod an hour ago with a 20K 25 turn VR and its not responsive for the first 1/2 of the range then it gets really sensitive. so 20k is too high.

ps - imo its easier to solder to the pad between the resistors than soldering to the resistor itself ;)

Hi guys , I have this problem with my gtx vmod , with a 500 ohm VR at max I get 2.5v vgpu , so from the discussion here I may have to try a larger VR .

I had put 503ohms and i obtained.... 2.46v
972ohms = 1.84v
503ohms = 2.46v

so I will try to put a 10k vr set to 2k

EDIT : it's ok I have 1.60v with 2k... i'm actually at 1.45 stock cooling...

Yes the 500ohm VR is too low. I suggest a 10K 25 turn VR set to 8 - 10K :up:

Well i have the soldering done ,im pantiently waiting for my DVOM to return..from My Brother , he kidnapped it of all things! So i should have it in a few hours..It sucks ,I have that oc itch but will not turn sytem on till i check my work! O i geuss ill have a few beeRs and some piZza:D


I used a 1k Vr it should work,have a 10k just in case if i have to swap it...I only need to raise Gpu to about 1.3-1.36 that should do it...well soon see:yepp:
