I've got a problem

I was building my new rig and the graphics card won't fit in all of the way. It's in all of the way on the right side, but on the left, the slot and card are still touching, but it's not inn all of the way. Will it still run or will I need to do some modding?

My specs (that matter in this situation) are:

Coolmaster elite 330
Evga 8800gts KO
Asus P5K-E

It should fit nice and snug. Is it hitting against something in the case or is there a wire in the way? Of course make sure you are using a PCI Express slot and not a PCI slot. Take it out and try again because you are doing something incorrectly.

Edit: I got it. It took a little bit of case modding though. Nothing major, I just unscrewed something and I was able to pop the card right in.
