Apparently you still have to use the crysis hotfix driver rather than this when playing crysis.

http://game.amd.com/us-en/latest_news.aspx?id=AMD000000016

Crysis players should continue using the Crysis hotfix driver. (http://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&questionID=30533)

what issues?

Quirkiness with increasing the clocks. I have an msi at 850/something and setting it between 858 and 900 results in a grey screen. You have to set it to 900+ but even their it acts quirky.

Bought this car hoping to be able to mod/tweak it but its unyielding.

Not using crossfire - only have a P965 board.

The fact that overdrive just WILL NOT work on this Asus card is irritating the sh1t outta me!

When i say not work, i mean, it doesnt even appear in CCC. At all. Ever.

I can't even install it. It gives me these errors.

1. Error 'Notify'
2. Error 'data.size ()!=1'
3. Error '0x80040707'

Oh well, I'll skip 7.11 and wait for 7.12.

Unfortunately, ATI is not serious in attracting customers

the same crap driver every month without any major improvements

thats why i sell my ati card and bought 8800ultra

I'm having a MAJOR issue with this driver and my X1950XT 256mb. It is not reporting the correct gpu temp! My card reaches a too high temp and the game crashes. I watched the OSD of ati tray tools and it reports 67c while gaming, what the heck, it's supposed to be 88-93c while gaming and I can clearly hear the fan isn't spinning fast enough. Either that or it isn't compatible with ATT.

I'm going back 7.10 azap.

i get the same temp reps as i had with 7.10 (30°C on my 1950xt 256), but i'm on water so i don''t bother with the temp readings :D

Nice difference my 90c compared to your 30c :D Maybe 7.11 is incompatible with ATT, I'll just stick to 7.10 for now since I don't like CCC

Had to do that with the 7.8 driver I believe. Every time I tried installing it my OS crashed and I had to do a restore to get it working again. 7.9 on worked like a charm.

On a different note, I do agree with others that I would like to see this comparison done with a 3870.

I´m experiencing this too, with a single 3870. The problem seems to be the OpenGL driver, Jedi Academy after 5 seconds of play --> driver restart in Vista64. I have already report this to the Catalyst Feedback.

Ditto. I have experienced BSODs, total system freezes, or if I have VPU Recover on, GPU restarts in the middle of a game. Very annoying and makes me want to go NVidia, if I only could run SLI.

 I have updated every new ATI driver as they came out for years. I have never had a problem till 7.11. The driver changes the LCD color view and the system seem unstable. I then go to load 7.11 for the ATI Theater 650 PRO and I get a blue screen. I go back to 7.10 and everything is fine.

I can't be the only one. I search the net and only find information about the 7.11 improvements.

What up
