hey all.. i just received my gtx.. and i must say.. it sucks at overclocking compaired to others achieving 700mhz... while mine can only achieve 630 while running 3d applications such as 3dmark.. at 640 it craps out before test 1 can even finish

so w/ that said.. i'll be purchasing my a zalman vf1000 or a hr-03 sometime soon.. so i wanna try a basic volt mod, just so i can push up to that 700mhz

i'm willing to learn and start soldering if need be

i just want something nice n' simple.. cuz score 13.8 in 3dmark sucks

This (http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=gethowto&number=8&howtopage=196&howtoID=72) should help, and if not just do a quick search in the Graphix mods section for a how-to. I'm sorry but, Wow only 630 that is really bad. Anyway you should get the HR-03+, especially before you do the mod just as a precaution. Good Luck.

Hardly anyone reaches 700 on a GTX without a mod of some kind.

u should be able to hit 660 -670 on a gtx. Any higher would need a vmod. my gts can hit 665, but i dont want to push my luck
