Hey there!
Ive got a question about my lcd screen on my laptop(eurocom d900c phantom), ive ordered WUXGA 1920x1200 screen.
Its only looks nice when set to 1920x1200 res, but when below its all fuzzy, it looks like them old tfts when everything is blurry and hard to read...
I would just like to find out what type of screen i actually got from them, cuz ive ordered the best one, but it sucks... Is there any program there that tells you about the screen and if it really is the WUXGA?

its 1920 x 1200 thats the ONLY resolution you should be using. DUH. thats why it looks nice ONLY when you set it to that.

Shouldnt it also look quite crisp when set to 1600x1200 or 1280x1024...? U know 12x10 is a suggested resolution for a 17" monitor.
Basically what im saying is that when its set below 1920x... it doesnt look sharp... Are all laptops like that?

Agreed. This laptop clearly wasn't meant to be pushing out any resolution lower than 1920X1200. It could be the display drivers causing the loss in quality. You are using NVIDIA so see if there is an update or make sure your drivers are installed correctly.

It is an LCD screen. You have 1920x1200 pixels to fill.
When you only output 1680x1050, or 1440x900 (wide resolutions, you can't do 1600x1200 or 1280x1024) or any lesser number of pixels from the video card they have to be stretched, or enlarged to fill the panel.
There is nothing that a driver can do about it.
just buy a seperate monitor, i agree it should be able to put use lower res you can't play any game on that res but an 17" is just way to small.
