I think it has something to do with the fact his cpu is obviously from the future, running at 12c idle.

Im sure alot of inquiring minds would love to know how :) Is it a pin mod? What materials did you end up using?

I hope this isnt a BS post :( Id love to know potential Q6600 multi unlocking :D

Some people are born with a chip on their shoulder, some are not.
When people learn some manners and talk to one another as they would to friends then these issues don't happen..
Now as to a 12X multi..ahh, well I'm from Missouri, the Show Me State!;)

Run some Everest benchmarks, Prime 95 and validate (upload) CPU-Z screens to give us the link to see for ourselves, if you want us to believe it's possible so we may try it. Otherwise, as far as I have known from CPU MFG's themselves, you won't have the tools to do it, not even a electrical engineer can unless he works in Intel fabs, under a specialized department.

how about some proof. You're the one that's being a :banana::banana::banana::banana: right now, I don't see why you think you have a reason to believe that you are better than the rest of us:shakes:

what's the purpose of spending hours to supposedly get a 12x mult if you are only going to run the chip at 3.6ghz anyways? You could just as easily do that with the 9 mult. So even if it is true (which its probably not), this guy isn't even making use of it

I think he's full of :banana::banana::banana::banana:.

His first posts in here were "oh i know chips can be unlocked. tell me how". Then he got angry when he was told it wasn't possible. Here, look at the white papers. He attacked members for trying to explain it, etc.
