I have a old prommie (no use for 4 years+), dusted off and fired it up gets down to -15*c.

The Evaporator bolts sheered off (due to cold/imperfections)
I belive the electronics are fudged or at least the thermo couple is reporting wrong temp as a fluke puts the head at ~-30*c.

I need this thing stripped down, new evap and fittings installed.
Various recommended mods as per your opinion.
Some new elecronics fitted (not overly important or fancy) if you can get anything that has a RS232 interface that i can drag temps or status from that would be a bonus (a PLC would be an idea also).

looking at spending £300 inc delivery. (mabey more for delivery from EU)
Ship out January (mabey dec). Early march would be a good time for it being ready.

(I may consider spending more for a full works messing about with neoprene, mount a case the board and CPU).

few years back I had an epic workshop as a elec engineer, now i have a small room as a programmer, and lots of nagging hence I cant do this myself anymore =(

I may also be after 2 matching phase change units as well (strapped to a piece of ply and shipped on a (pallet style)

ohh and (hi XtreamSystems) from Wales UK :D !

if you're ready to spend 300£ to mod it, I would say it's worth consider to sell it for lets say ~100£ and buy a custom build one since shipping from you to builder will be rather high (unless its a UK builder). This will make the mod in some cases more expensive then a new build.
