Are you able to put two 8800GT or 8800GTX cards in SLI in an older NForce4 SLI board that only allows 8x/8x PCIe bandwidth for each card as opposed to 16x/16x?
I didn't think there was a problem, since even these cards apparently only saturate about 4x of the PCIe bus. However, many of the 8800 GTX cards on this site have a disclaimer on the bottom saying you need a dual 16x/16x motherboard to run them in SLI:

I know my ABIT board is 16x/16x, but the second PCIe slot suddenly stopped working and ABIT is being real fraudulent regarding the RMA (made me pay a $157 deposit and now tell me they have none of my boards in stock and aren't refunding my cash). Anyways, I bought a cheap NF4 board to replace it that is only 8x/8x.
