Am I the only one that is *VERY* dissappointed with the TransFormers OST?? I am sooo pissed about it - it has only 1 song that I actually wanted (Linkin Park song) - the rest dont exist on it

Am I the only one that is -very- disappointed with both the OST and the movie? Since it first was shown in theaters I have the feeling that I am.

Action was great. Unfortunately it was tailored a bit towards the immature side using Shia the way they did. They could have written the script a little less goofy and it would have been better. Shia is capable of being funnier but they wrote the script with awkward humor which was lackluster. Megan Fox is so easy on the eyes. She is on my background. ;)
film OSTs are normally absolute bobbins...what did you expect?!? The music used in transformers was just as thin and obvious as in most other films.
the film was nothing special either.

The Orchestral pieces used in the film are also available, try searching for Steve Jablonsky, he's the one who wrote it.. AFAIK, the album is publically available... Also, this is by far the best part of the OST, none of the rock/pop tracks were that great...
Also, I love the movie... It's not the deepest or most thought-provoking movie out there, but for a night with the guys it's brilliant...
Also, for anyone interested, here's an updated metal/rock version of the old '80s theme, by Black Lab:

as far as transformers goes it was good plot and dialogues.. lol ;)
OST's usually do suck, they're made for consumers who were fanboys of the original product to buy ;)

I've got them on my comp right now, they're named after which part of the film they were used in... I'm missing the one from when the spec-ops first arrive at the base at the start of the film though... It's not there :(
But everything else is
