Hey guys,
I got a mach II GT last week
from a friend of mine.
Recently the Comp just froze up and quit working.
I took apart the head unit and there was quite a bit of moisture
around in there. I know it was well sealed with seal string
so i was wondering if the head on the Mach II can/have gone bad.
I did notice when i got the unit that the thin white plastic plate around the
head was loose. It didn't seem like that would cause issues but ..i could be wrong.
it's common the thin plastic part is loose, I havn't seen it any other way either.
does the compressor and fun run? if not you have something to take a look on, if it's running and still no temp you have either a broken compressor or a leak.

The Prometeia seems to run perfect. It cools down to -50 then powers up the board. It just seems to be causing some abnormal moisture somehow.
if the unit is making the temps it should do then there is nothing to complain about.
abnormal amounts of moisture can be caused of high temps and Humidity, nothing strange about that.
As long as the unit is running smooth you should be happy, then its all about insulation.

Did you insulate your motherboard?
How about grease in the socket?
Moisture is the result of temperatures low enough to cause condensation and then contact with moist air. Its your job to keep that air away, not the units.

Unless there is 0% humidity, you have it. Do you have a hygrometer?

Even in California in middle of summer, there is about 20% -30% humidity... (I live in so called low desert area). 0% humidity is not really a practical living environment... -_-;
I suppose if you found a way to live in a vacuum there would be 0% humidity :D
