Ok.. whats the deal here. I got my 2nd 2gb set of memory threw them in and the system wouldn't post. So i took them out, reset cmos, put them back in. Nothing again.

Tested the new set in blue slots, works perfect. Put old ones back in, works perfect. WTF? Put old sticks in black slots (just 1 set) and no boot. Put new set in black slots, no boot. Read through the manual 2-3times.

Just for grins i put all 4 sticks and and put jumper in recovery mode, won't post.

Pulled the 2x1gb PC2-5400 Corsair value Select sticks from my other system, put in black slots. No post.

I give up. What am i missing or is the board just shot?

Would a bios update fix this? Here is a SS of CPU-Z as i'm not sure what version i'm using.

Try this:
Boot it up with 1 pair and change voltage in the memory settings to 2.2 or 2.3v. After you got 1 pair at 2.2v working, shut it down and put the other pair in. I've been doing this many times.
