I have been getting a double dash error from the moment I finished the build, however it would go away after I powered down. Now I was just in my BIOS and it happened again. My temps were all very low, and I had not changed any settings or added any new hardware. Is it the mobo, or the chip?

lol, yeah welcome to my party down under. I've had to order another board and RMA this sucker back for a customer. It won't even boot anymore unless I change the proc to a Celeron D 3 G that I have laying around.

I still think it's this $hit B1 Bios that's the culprit but vdroop is terrible and I just find it too friggin sensitive of a board to play with.

When that board comes back I'll have a spare:rolleyes:

A short somewhere on the board will cause the double dash.

actually I fixed it by unplugging my floppy drive and plugging it back in ROFL
