Are there any hacks for this or upgrade firmwere?
I got one working now and am going to fit to my system but just wandering if there was anyhting out there for it to make it run better

a controller is not going to make ur unit run better..it is there to make it start read temps and shut down if no power on mainboard

Hmm a hack.. remove it and put a less finicky controller in there? :)

Erm what is it with people these days, XS members are tigther than a ducks ass and everyone eles out there just is up there own ally.
I think i know what a controler does and doesn't do.
I was more along the line thinking a custom conrtol to it, interface anything really running on it but i guess it's a no then.

If you're handy with a bit of wiring, you could hook it up to your cascade with extra temp probes and have a cycle of all the temps...Hx in/out, evap etc etc :)

No need as i have UEI and Voltcraft for that. This controler will do in my SSWCPX build

There was someone who hacked it while back to read more accurate temperature (probably played something with coefficient). I have lost track of it since than.

hadnt even heard of that will have to have friend search around for it since hes still rocking the ls
