Kayl cooler 1/2HP
New kayl Evap head this Unit is looking good for Phase benching So far benching at 4400Mhz dosnt seem to worry it,The biggest worry is me being able to get my Board to go over 500 Fsb cpu is a Q6600 G0
Few pics of me trying to nut everything out and getting a few runs

Wait a second! How the hell did you guys get core temp reading?! Or is random number that is just stuck there which is all I've been seeing as of late -_-;

My Blitz formula and my commando both get readings above 0c
usually anything below that is 8c or 13c
speedfan reads below 0c readings but only on my Blitz formula
my commando speedfan never read sub 0 temps.
think i got it correct eheh

Hori... look into remounting it a little. Maybe using tension spring for mounting the bolts. I am sure Kayl's cooler should show even lower temperature on the screen :) Good contact is so critical around that wattage you are putting out that even smallest mismatch can kill the joy :)

Thanks Jinu ,i was actually thinking of measuring length of enclouser comparing to vapochill enclouser and using the poles and springs the same way for correct tension.
just needs some time for thought and measurments i suppose i have plenty of old vapo poles and springs laying around and there more steardier as well than threaded rods.
nice work horri, that Q6600 is wpriming at 4.4ghz 1.7v thats better than my QX6700 by far

In case I missed it, what gas is used here?

R507 and some r290 to carry oil (even though POE)

Thanks kayl. R507 look to be a good R290 replacement.

Jinu i went and took your advice on mounting..
i lifted up enclouser and stuff and placed the evap head smack in the centre of the cpu..lowered down insulation and enclouser over the top...then slid down holding plate..i had to slide evap head over to the upper left hand side probably 5 mm or so for the plate to slide over enclouser ..So effectivly it was not to bad ..but by doing this i got a very good idea on exactly where evap head was sitting...And idle temps on evap head are -50 to -51c
bios tmps reading still -40c max lowest.so i think 1 could exspect a 10c differance between evap head and mboard cpu temp readings..
The cooler after my first full week of testing is better than i first thought :yepp:
Wprime benching over 4400Mhz 1.7vcore real Cpu core tmps dont go much over 15c
Evap head does not go hotter than -31c
My old cooler same Cpu my Core temps was reaching 40c and rebooting the pc..
So the newer Kayl evap head is alot better than previose version Thicker wall apparantly..
Also the 1/2Hp lbp compressor seems to be running not as hot as the 3/4 Hbp compresor.
i just have to be very patient in between reboots of the cooler it seems to like a 1 hour sit min between shutdown and restart..Which is fine as once i shut down i go do homework for next Overclock bench run on the laptop.

Looking good Hori :) I knew contact wasn't too good :)
Still core temp of 15 sounds a little off to me but it could be just the mobo (-_- One day I hope mobo companies to unite and show us right temp for once :P)
