in one of my threads one member wrote this:
If you had the knowledge time and parts, you could build a linear regulator and regulate straight from 5V line build it using a VR and you should be able to tune voltage to whatever you like.
If you fancy trying it check the xtreme mods section im sure someone in there would be able to tell you exactly how to do it.
I want to build a regulator which is connected to the 5v Rail on the one side and to the VDimm point of my RAM on the other side.
With a VR i can adjust the VDimm up to 5V.
I´m able to build a simple regulator, no problem. But under full load voltages will be not very stable.
Now i am searching a schematic for a regulator for very stable voltages.... under full load too.
Can everybody help me or tell me a link for this problem?
Search the forum gave no results.... maybe i used the wrong keywords?
