Hi guys, just wondering if anyone has seen this issue or know how to fix it.
I am currently using a 1gig hd2900xtx and the 7.10 catalyst drivers for Vista and Xi-Fi with the latest drivers from Creative. I can play games fine, but when I play video, i.e. the intro when you start a new game in HL2 Ep2 or clips within Winamp with the Combined Community Pack, it will crash the system and a loud beep will come through the speakers.
When I switch back to XP Pro, everything is working fine, so I don't think it's the hardware. I also can play games in Vista without any problems. Any ideas?
edit: apparently windows media player is stable... hmm
