Talking of lower end cards I was looking at GF FX 5200U scores compared to GF3 200/500ti for 3dmark2001 and the overall score is about the same but the nature score for the 5200U is a lot higher, probably due to optimisations, cough. ;)

While waiting for Komplett to start selling 400/800 5600U's I have decided to buy a GF3 200ti and see if I can get my Peltier to work on it. Last time i tried on the FX 5200 it was a complete disaster. The time before on my GF4 4400MX it turned the video ouput pink. LOL

Let us know how you get on with overclocking your 8500, I see kamu has 14k with a very fast P4.

Regards

Andy

That's easy, just substitute vr's for the fixed resistors saaya. I did the xbit version on my 8500. The vref/vddq did nothing in my case for performance and stability, in fact, it caused problems in my case. The GPU, VDD mod's are a good place to start. Set the vr's high and work your way down.

Don't expect too much from the vmod's on this card however. The card is pretty maxed out already. Mine had 3.3 Hynix and going from 318mhz on the memory to 368mhz had minimal performance gains.

I dont know what you mean, my 8500 at 300/320 is only 100 marks ahead of my ti200 at 250/525 and the ti4200 is over 3k marks ahead of the 8500!!!!!!!
