I just installed windows and I want to create an image of the partition so I do not have to install windows all the time from scratch. it's quicker if I recover from an image.
I downloaded the trial of acronis and installed it in another machine. I then created a boot CD and proceeded to boot from the Gigabyte P35 setup.
but the boot CD is complaining that it cannot find a bootable partition. I suppose it can't find the SATA drive.
I know I can create images in windows but that isn't fresh anymore as I have installed acronis. That is why I want to create the image using the boot CD.
any ideas?
