I read a forum post where they compared different defrag tools for Vista, and they concluded that the Windows Vista version is the best. (using Vista defrag improved boot time and average read speed more than the others)

I know, I also hate the non-functional display... or lack of a percent indicator like XP.

How I miss the XP defrag window. :(

Sorry I don't remember the link. Just thought to post what I read.

Are you running 64bit by any chance? Cuz Q&O also offers 64bit version.

Agreed. The diskeeper service takes a crap everyonce and a while and it totaly borkes your system.

O&O on the other hand runs like a champ. AND it has boot time defrag which will defrag your windows sytem files

O&O x6 here. Been using it for two years now and I really like it. Still can't find what defrag profile works best though..

I use name. Should be good for loading windows and games considering the folders are generally groupled together.

Well for my boot drive I have it set to access and my game/storage/junk RAID I have it Name. I may try name later for both.

correction:

Windows vista defragger is diskkeeper

Is there a comprehensive guide
COMPLETE Name VS COMPLETE Access VS SPACE VS STEALTH
in benchmarks?
