Asus P5B Deluxe + 8800GT PCI-E 2.0

Does anyone know if the 8800GT which is PCI-E 2.0 will work in an Asus P5B Deluxe which has PCI-E 1?

Does anyone know which PCI-E version the Asus P5B Deluxe has, is it 1.0 or 1.1?

The P5B Deluxe is a pci express version 1.0 (there is no version 1.1 btw). Pci-express 2.0 is the newest revision and is only found on the latest Intel chipset, the X38 at this time. Yes, it will work just fine. It's backwards compatible.
