They have some promise for heat sinks and radiators, I'd say. A 1250 rpm YL is good for almost 8 Pa of static pressure, IIRC. Whereas the 1000 rpm Ultra is (apparently) good for 10.5 Pa. And I've had good luck with Scythe fans, personally.

i bought them a few weeks ago. im gonna use them on a super restrictive on airflow gts240 O_O!!! lol i got the high speed version. it reminds me of my old vantec tornadoes that i needed to buy a fan controller for. These fans are really quiet at 60%(bios settings for a test). Im currently looking for a new fan controller cause my current one makes buzzing sounds cause its friggin old lol. Anyways the fans move a ton of air and are pretty quiet when lowered.
