What's A Good DB Range?

I can't remember this stuff, its been a few years since I was really into fans and cooling. I can't remember what a good decible (DB) rating would be for a fan, so its not very noticable.

30db is quiet and 40db is quiet if u have 15db isolating headphones (with 4-5 of them stacked), but it stacks if they are the same frequency (fan size ushualy dictates the frequency) but i have 3 yate 88cfm 1 tt smart fan and 2 antec low db and with my headphones that do 18db isolating and i cant hear them with just the headphones on and nothing playing with my comp 2 feet away

30db and under is quiet enough for me...anything over 30db is getting a bit loud for my taste's
