Hey guys,

I'm having a really hard time trying to get my gskills above 1000MHz. doesn't matter what timings i'm running. I've tried voltages from 1.8 to 2.2v and no go.

Model# F3-12800CL7D

Anyone have any advice?

2*2GB sticks or 4*1GB sticks? If last one, you should try with 2 sticks. Or try it single channel to find it stable @ 1000.

It's friday so i finally have some decent time to do sme testing.

I've tried setting the NB voltage to 1.7v already but thanks for the suggestion.

I've also tried in 2x1GB and no go....

Can this possibly be an issue with FSB Strap....that's the only thing i can think of right now....

I'm assuming you mean 2000mhz instead of 1000mhz.
Running >1800mhz really requires alot of tweaking and is dependent on board ALOT more than most people think. I'm talking about MCH on each board, not just switching brands or models necessarily. I have 2 P5K3's and one will do about 1800mhz at 1.7mch and a certain "tune" I've come up with for my ram timings. My 2nd board only needs 1.55v and will do 1860mhz and I'm still testing ;). This is with some Mushkin dimms that DIDN't meet Brian's bin profile ;).
might wanna take a pic of your bios setup so we can start recommending some changes
