I have been having temp problems with my setup. Shock lol. Q6600 quad and dual Nvidia 8800 GTX in SLI (not connected to the to be installed Water cooler), EVGA 680i motherboard, 850w PSU. I was idle at 45C, 55C is avg, and 65C isnt that hard to hit running a game. I decided to move to water cooling and get a Stacker 832 computer case.

What do you guys think is the best in/out airflow deisgn is?

The stacker has the following 120mm fan capability:
1 Top fan
4 side fans in a (2x2 square setup)
1 rear fan
3 front fans in a (3x1 tower like setup)

I have come up with 2 designs and I am leaning toward #1, but am open to other ideas.

Design 1
1 Top fan-OUT (since hot air rises)
4 side fans-IN (in to bring more cool air in)
1 rear fan-connects to the WC dual radiator
3 front fans-OUT (need an output)

Design 2
1 Top fan-OUT (since hot air rises)
4 side fans-OUT (to get all the hot air off the gpu's out)
1 rear fan-connects to the WC dual radiator
3 front fans-IN (to bring more cool air in)

Thanks

How about your side fans and front fans in and your psu, rear, and top out.

I like the idea of having the front fans push IN but the rear has to be pushing IN too due to the water cooling rad setup so that would leave only the top 120mm and the PSU pushing out. Think that be enough and a good flow?

I have my entire quad fan bracket on intake.... cools off alot of components nicely.
