I'm seeing some P35 boards that claim to have Crossfire support.
How is that possible? I thought only AMD chipsets supported Crossfire,

P965, P975, P35 X38 - all officially support crossfire

p35 is 8x8 x38 is full 16

how can that be since the P35 has 16x electrically controlled PCIe slot and a 4x electrically controlled PCIe slot...how can the driver manipulate that one?

Absolutely not. P35 is exactly how p965 chipset does crossfire
