Vista boot issues, SAFE MODE ONLY??? HELP!
Hi, I just built my friend a system and all worked fine when it left my house. He gets the rig and it will not do a regular boot. the green micrsoft bar will just keep going and then the monitor will shut off and system will just hang there. The only way he can get into windows is to boot in safe mode. I had riva and ati tool to oc during startup enabled but I had him remove both to make sure that wasn't the culprit. Its not. There is some other driver or hardware issue that is messing things up. Any ideas on how to diagnose this?
Please help..
He has 2 sata drives in raid 0 but I doubt that is the problem because raid is detected after post and safe mode will work.
system specs are:
os vista ultimate 32
e2140 @3ghz
ocz titanium alpha vx pc8000 DDr2
asus p5b dlx/wifi
ati x1950xt 256mb
2x hitachi 7200 80gb sataII raid 0
tuniq tower
