I've just had another cellshock memory stick die on me. ( a set were replaced a couple of months ago by Cellshock ) I've just spoken to a Cellshock engineer (very nice man ) he informs me that several people have had this problem. It transpires that the voltage fluctaution when running 4 x 1GB sticks causes problems for the memory modules used ( PC-8000 CAS 4-4-4-12 ) So I guess it's down to 2GB for me :(

I have some crucial memory that may be having the same taces of instability problems on a 965 P5B Deluxe, mine are D9 4x1Gb Crucial 667. But I doubt we have the exact power issues.

Corsair HX620 BTW

Firstly the Asus 680i's overvolt , there's also some peeps talking about bad ripples, stacking up 4 dimms causes a lot of heat, the crappy heatpipe on the Striker is not helping either to keep things cool... some things will have to fail finally...

Hope you get a good RMA soon mate, you got them actively cooled ?

Cellshock have always provided a positive experience as far as I'm concerned. I had an antec spotcooler blowing across the memory and there is a 70mm fan on the NB. tthis is what may have killed one of the previous sticks. The engineer confirmed there had been several cases recently!!

I RMAed my 2x1GB 8000 CAS4 Cellshock kit like 2 months ago, one stick died on me, now with the new kit, after using up to 2.36V (being careful) and one deeper C1 error after setting some tighter timmings at 556MHz the second stick wouldn't boot at more than 400MHz... I'm starting to believe that with Cellshock you have to buy two kits to have two decent sticks, cause always one stick in the kit holds everything back... :shakes:
