Just tried vista for the first time with my bros new computer, in the middle of setting everything, and it wont see my computer or the laptop we have as shared comps in the network. And he needs to be able to see through mine that has the USB storage drive with all his stuff on it lol

is it on a domain or work group

is there a dhcp server or is it manualy config

how are the pc joined together (network hub/router or direct to each other

open cmd

in cmd window type:

ipconfig /all

on both pc's are both on same ip range /subnet
