This is the memory I have in mind.
Though I am open to opinions.

Just need some advice in wither I should get this ram.

I have a X38 ASUS Max Formula and e6550 to tie me over till 45NM Quad Cores.
So I want to be able to overclock fairly well now and in the future.

Thanks in advance!

i'd say save some money and get the excellent clocking crucial ballistix instead
linky (http://e3wwwtest.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148069)

just to add, i dont know anything negative about the sticks you picked, its just that there are several threads showing the crucial's being excellent clockers +own good experience with them

Or even better NO REBATE (http://www.mwave.com/mwave/viewspec.hmx?scriteria=BA23790&RSKU=BA23790) for $103.75.

Thanks all I was not in the know with Memory... Wikied Crucial (Micron is Crucial who knew of course not I).

Got my Asus Maximus just waiting on Memory.

God I was going to wait for x48 but I guess x38 will have to do.
I really wish my Gigabyte Motherboard didn't die on me. 939 K8N-ultra 9(Probably one of the worst motherboards I probably ever see.)
