Hello,

i am searching for a 3,3V Railmod.
All pics in the threads i found are down.... maybe my bad english can be the reason that i wont find any results with the search-function.

in my opinion there is a vr resistor (20k maybe) beetween the 3,3V lane an ground. so the PSU "think" the voltage is to low und adjust the voltage to a higher level.

Is this explanation right?

And does it work to increase my VDimm after a VDimm Mod?

willl other components break down, when voltage increases from 3,3V to 3,6V? I think its more variance than written down in the ATX specs....

Thanks for any comment.

Be aware that the 3.3V and the 5V are connected usually so if you increase 3.3V the 5V goes up as well. Not sure why you want to put the 3.3V over spec though.

Simply connecting a VR between 3.3V and ground won't adjust the voltage, it has to be the sensor wire or something like that.

Ahhhh..... so the Vr Resistor must soldered beetween sense-wire an Ground.... that make more sense ;)
