HI everyone

I have a 2 x 1024 DDR2 1100 CL5 MRam kit

Bought them as a value dual channel kit rated at 1066 CL5. when looking at CPU-Z it gives me the following:

I can tighten the timings to 4-4-4-12 @ 1066 / 5-5-5-18 @ 1200...both of these at 2.25V.. what would be safe Voltages just for benching...? I have akasa copper ramsinks on both modules and even at running 2.25V they dont get hot at all

I've had plenty of kits fry at 2.25 vDimm with active cooling. I wouldn't push it much past 2.3 for extended periods of time, but it also depends on the ICs of the RAM.

Some love voltage and some don't

Dont go past 2.3v for 24/7 (some would even say that is too high) But most DDR2 can withstand the punishment, if it comes down to small differences in clocks and you have a decision to run lower clock better timings say DDR2 1000 4-4-4-12 2.2v (not saying it will do that, but for sake of comparison) or 1100 5-5-5-15 2.3v go with the lower clock and voltages for 24/7.

Hope that makes sense.
