Hiya Opp. Too bad my P4C800 deluxe mobo sucks butt. My IC7 was kicking some serious arse. Damn condensation killed it. I'm selling my P4C800 btw. POS mobo and damn my luck. On an Albatron atm. Maybe i'll try that P4C800 mobo again. The cold boot problem just really annoys me. BIOS pisses me off as well.
I was just wondering why nobody has posted anything on doing a Northie volt mod. My ic7 sucked badly until i raised northy volts from 1.45 to 1.600. I suggest you check your northy volts and see if it's at 1.50+. If it's not then increase it. Intel data sheets says it supposed to be at 1.50v default. No wonder my ic7 was so unstable before i raised it. Maybe if i stick my p4c800 mobo back in i'll see if i can locate where to mod that voltage. :) I've had a few peole try this mod on other ic7's but they said it didn't help any. But thier default voltage was higher than mine was. Thiers was 1.50+ btw. I could only do 285fsb before mod and 305fsb after mod. 305 i believe was cpu limit. Didn't try a/c on the cpu at that time. Seemed to really help stability though.
