Hello, I'm going to order new rig today, and few last things, which I'm thinking about are:
I chose Scythe Infinity for cooling my new E6750. Case will be Cooler Master Elite 330.
I can get at my shop only Scythe and Noctua fans, both max. 1200rpm. I'd like to OC my CPU a bit, and I want cool and quiet performance. I plan to order 3x Scythe S-Flex 1200rpm fans: 1x fan as second fan on Infinity and 2x fans in case, one for replacing default 330 case outtake fan, and one for intake.
Now I wonder, if I buy that rig, they will seal (dunno correct word) my computer, so if I open it, and something goes wrong after I opened it, I will have to pay 30$ for diagnosis of problem. Like I will lost my 2 year warranty if I open it. And here comes the problem, mods like pressure mount, lapping or just replacing the fans, I wouldn't be able to do that, if I don't want to loose warranty.
So, what is the best default position for fans with no mods? Push-pull or push-push? Because at my shop, they can do it. They said that they are able to do almost everything if they are capable to do so, but I found here, that for example on pressure mount you need screws and other things, which you have to buy somewhere else, so they probably can't do it then, right?
So here comes questions:
1) What is the best 2 fan setup for default Infinity?
2) What is the best 2 fan setup for modded Infinity, and can be pressure mount done with default setup?
3) Is it worth to loose warranty in order to have possibility of changing position of fans inside and maybe modding the Infinity?
4) Should I disregard the warranty and try different setups, maybe with Papst fans?
5) Would it be ok, if case has only one 1200rpm intake, and one 1200rpm outtake + Seasonic S12 12cm fan outtake?
6) Is default Scythe Infinity fan S-Flex?
7) Will everything fit in 330 case? Infinity with 2 25mm fans and one more 25mm at the back of the case?
8) Main question: Is Infinity O.K. enough in 2 fan default setup? I mean if it is over Ninja or so.
Thanks for replying, I was searching forums for a long time now, but every review and test had some specifics, like testing in open case, or modded coolers, or not every possible fan setup, or fans with 220cfm and sound like vacuum cleaner :lol2: Just feel free to answer anything, everything will be greatly appreciated :)
Edit: Umm little dizzy, of course I meant how many fans :)
