PytonOrm,
Welcome to the xTreme :)
Nice o/c you got there, just curious as to what your RAM timing are set at?
On another note you have the same chip as I have, same week almost the same FPO: you is 75 mine is 78.
Have you tried 3.9GHz stable @ 1.6v
Any 3dmark scores?
What do you have exactly for NB cooling?
Pelt or something?
My NB gets over 43°C when FSB 281(5:4). This is with Zalman passive cooler BUT sidecase fan blowing directly on it . So it is not really passive anymore....
Increasing agp voltage does nothing for me. Still lockups at FSB 282 and higher....(with 5:4 divider).

wow...very nice oc on that 2.4c Pyton! Congrats! I'm somewhat amazed you got it that high using Twinmos pc3700. My guess is if you got that with the twinmos, you should oc higher with the ocz, from what I've read.

Python huh? I've had a few snakes for pets but no pythons, that's for sure! :)
When you were first setting-up your system did you run it air cooled first before the prommie? If so, what amount of oc difference was it from air to the prommie?
Reason I ask is that I have been accumulating parts for a new system also using the IC7-G and I was thinking of starting off as air cooled.

Well I do have a mx-eva3 sitting in the corner waiting to be used on something, maybe I'll just start with it rather than going the air route first. Thanks!

I don't have a pic of mine as it's behind a rather large pile of stuff (my next system's components), but here's a link to maxxpert, the company that once made the mx-eva3... http://www.maxxxpert.com/english/default.htm

Not a good as your prommie, nor a vapochill, but it should be better than air anyway, providing it works. I've never tried it!

I love seeing oc's like that from new members. Anyone that posts a 1.5ghz oc when they don't even have 10 posts is alright in my book:toast:
It is oc's like this, that make me want to sell my mcw5000-pt before I even set it up and get a prommy :D. Gonna get my 17"benq and 9800pro+mcw50-t(can't find, giving up and buying new) first...THANK GOD FOR A GOOD SUMMER JOB!!!!!
I can't wait for the stupid max3 to come out already. I have everything but a mobo, infact I have had everything but the mobo for the last month. I should have bought one while I waited and sold it, oh well.
I hope my 2.4c does even close to yours...AMAZING OC. CONGRATS:exclamati:exclamati

What divider were you using, and what was he using? I am assume you were using 5/4, was he using 3/2? I have seen 6100+ with 275 fsb and up several times with a 5/4 divider.

Hehe good luck you guys on understanding this one
Congrats to a nice OC.. :toast:
