I'm so frustrated with the performance of my IC7 with corsairs xms 3700's, please tell me if you would return both the board and memory or just switch out the memory?
My sound on the IC7 has issues, which is one of the reasons i opted for this board which included sound, but its not all that great I have a 5.1 pci soundcard i could put in, and a LAN since it doesn't have one, but i'm not sure if i should just go for Asus p4c800. Newegg gave me rma's for both the board and the memory, but i'm not sure what moboard to go with. i'm leaning on going with ocz 3700 golds (2x256) as these xms 3700s suck, i can't get them to bench even though i can run windows all the way to 3.6 with my 2.4c cpu. my benches keep hanging and i tried for a whole week, not sleeping a few nites. I might get thru a few benches, but never consistently.
should i just scratch this board and go for the p4c800 or just scratch the sticks and try again??? what would you do? Also the kingston 400's are out now, are they good?
