When can we see the new line of cards from nvidia such as 9 serias cards and new cards from ATI, anything in time for crysis,ut3,cod4?

Some people expect the 9800GTX in November, but that's just from "insider" information.

So we really don't have an official statement on the release date of the 9000 series cards.

any early benchmark leaks on how they might perform compared to the 8 serias cards?

i doubt it but here is an idea, just buy an EVGA card and use the step-up program to be safe?

also supposedly the 9800 GTX is 2 or 3 times as fast at the 8800 GTX

Yea but how do they calculate the value of the card in that u send back to them?if they offer me like 200 bucks for somthing that i payed 500 2 months back its not kinda worth it is it?now we dont have exact date of the relose of the 9800 card so the step up program is a hit or miss again, and one more thing do we have any benches tat show the card being tat much faster then the current flagship?

EVGA's step up program offers you three months to upgrade to a newer card.

They subtract your original purchase price from the price of the newer card you are buying.

Which most of the time, it be better to sell off your card, than to stepup due to this kind of policy.

would it be worth it to change current 8800GTX cards to 9-series yet?

well considering the 8800 GTXes cost about $500 USD and the next series would cost what? $600 that means you have to pay $100 for your new card maybe $20 for shipping

where as when you sell your card you may get far less than what you paid
