here is the problem i have been having...

you can see my specs for my computer in my sig.

I am always getting random crashes in win xp, most of the errors (when i go and look them up online) are memory related (i.e. page_fault_in_nonpaged_area) etc, bsod of death at random times, sometimes a few minutes after i start up the computer, sometimes hours after i do...

I have a small overclock (FSB@233) but it still happens if i run the computer at stock speeds...

I thought it was the ram, i had some corsair and have had 2 diff sets of OCZ but it seems to happen with no matter what ram i put in there. Tryed running ram @ SPD, underclocked, normal voltage, overvolted...

Tryed moving cards around in the PCI slots, thought that might be cuasing it, dl'ed new audio and video drivers, but it keeps crashing at random times-i could be browsing the web, on irc, or playing a game, it follows no pattern...

I finally decided to just RMA my motherboard, i think that is what is causing it...

any suggestions/ideas on what could be plauging me with these constant crashes?

//edit ---could this possibly be a problem with my powersupply? I am using a TTGI 520W SS

well i disabled HT and it...*might* seem to be helping...haven't crashed yet but need to do some stress testing... (prime, folding, etc)

is it possible this is what is causing my system to crash? maybe HT/overclocking combo?

thanks

Do you have SP1 installed? A lot of XP bugs give errors.

yes i do have sp1 installed but not all of the small fixes that have come out after sp1, i am on dialup and haven't had a chance to get all the new, small fixes...

thanks for the heads up
