If i get a new hard drive...

Heres the deal, i hav a 60gb hard drive and its just not enough. If i get a new hard drive and use it as the primary will my windows xp recovery disks install xp on to it. or is there some other way to transfer xp onto the new drive. Note: i will still have the 60gb in there but i want to run all my programs from the new one. If not i guess ill just buy it agn.

Norton Ghost (or the older Symantec ghost which I prefer). its an imaging program that can clone a drive.

If you buy a retail hard drive they also come with cloning software. You basically connect the second drive and have the software copy everything to the new drive and make it bootable. It's pretty straight forward.

download hiren's boot cd or ultimate boot cd .. it has the tools included ;)
