well i know i could just volt mod my 9800 pro but i'm not too sure if i want to do that yet :D

would i (at the least) gain some stability at my current overclock if i raised the agp voltage up one step from the default? maybe a slightly greater overclock?

I searched on google but really couldn't find much info about how much good/bad this could do for my card...

thanks for your help

I am a nVidia man myself..although my new rig is Radeon...but I have read that Radeons dont have a overvolt protection, so I'd be careful.

As far as upping it in the BIOS.....you wont hurt it by doing that...and it may in fact stabilize you overclock. Be aware that upping the AGP volts doesnt do a tremendous job a helping you overlock a vid card..you need to vmod that card itself.

yes i understand i was just curious if a small bump could add some stability, not nessicarily a larger overclock

Sometimes it can help...when you have the card o/c'ed from inside windows.

If you are running 3DMark and it crashes to desktop,,and you are sure it isnt the mem or cpu, then add a little voltage to the agp. May stabliize the card..but usually its cooling that is the reason.
