i've taken the shroud of my 8800GTS and zip tied a 90mm fan underneath to improve temperatures as recommended on here and other places

its quite warm to the touch but i dont know what exactly the temperature is. anyone know of a piece of software that can tell me?

temperature monitoring is no longer included in the video drivers, it says i need ntune and that wont run because my motherboard is an intel chipset! i checked video card temps before by "downgrading" to an earlier version of nvidia drivers but i've deleted the file

2nd concern is since installing this card & with the overclocking my motherboard heatsinks are getting pretty hot and i cant squeeze a fan in there. i considered the HR03+ but since i intend to get a TRUE over my ultra 120 i might consider moving to water cooling.

RivaTuner. It has some pretty cool features. You can use plugins to use rivatuner as an all in one temp monitor. You can also set it up so if your temps rise dangerously high it shuts off your pc.
