No XP as well? If improved compatibility with HL is one of the driver's staples, wouldn't an XP release soon follow?

I'm not liking Nvidia's lack of concern for XP users. :shakes:

in the last several drivers, nv has been releasing both XP/Vista and 32/64 all 4 drivers at the sametime, and just b4 a game launched...i guess thats what they'll keep doing in the future , once in a while someone in guru3d, or laptop driver gets some leaked driver, but thats it

:shrug:

hopefully theyll release a driver b4 crysis demo to make SLI work as well as it does in other game, i can enable SLI on Crysis beta, but getting more or less the same performance as single card ....

Now now, not everyone has the time to go about all forums for updates! Given previous experiences, Nvidia did ignore XP for a time. You could have politely showed him the link or said nothing at all, like theteamaqua did when he showed me the updated drivers for XP.

And if you want people staying out of your business, please don't post on public forums.

Reznik Akime's post was at 9:10, when the drivers still didnt exist... so cool yourself off and dont make a royal a$$ of yourself for no reason. Someone say: uncalled for.

i was just making a suggestion, you can do whatever you want.

making a conclusion that nvidia is lacking concern for xp users just because a xp driver came after vista is ....wheres the dancing bananas go.......

Wow, NVIDIA's spitting out the drivers again, since 163.44 they've been raining down. Not complaining though :) but why rls 163.75 and then 163.76 at pretty much same time? Guess there's some serious issue they forgot to fix in 163.75 and had to rls 163.76?

I already see GREAT performance benchmark results in some other forums about 163.76. :) Note the 163.71 used there in comparision are XG tweaked 163.71 based on BETA version which is faster than stock NVIDIA 163.71 WHQLs are.

Cs:Source Stress ::
163.71 -- 250.11fps
163.76 -- 272.54

FEAR Stress ::
163.71 -- Min 52 / Max 318
163.76 -- Min 59 / Max 357

**Edited with my new numbers...I skipped over 163.75 as Snout said the 76's were more "allegedly" good for xp and holy :banana::banana::banana::banana: was he right.. Besides the fact those 2 games run as smooth as glass, CrySis feels alot smoother also. These will be great among xp users, and keep in mind I only have 1 card, and they perform this well. Smile ***

I like it when it's raining drivers, so much testing to do! :D Thanks for posting those numbers RPG. I have had nothing but good experiances with the 163.7x series of drivers so far on my rig (specs in sig). I'll upgrade to these probably sometime later this week.

I dunno if its the psychological aspect, but I swear Eve is running smoother with the .76 drivers.

Did they fix scaling yet? I like disabling it, but the setting will not stick and has not stuck since like the 90 series drivers.

I'm using Vista Ultimate 64 and a 8800GTX

Well on my setup I can't see any difference between 75 and 76 at all neither performance or IQ wise.

EDIT: On my system, XG 163.71 BETAs seems still like the winners, not by much though.

Did you had issues with it before? (Madden 08) Just curious because I've been getting some odd texture error sometimes. I'll try this out in a min..

Yea I did get them before with other various drivers, the game is fun but the graphics are horrid and no other driver version has solved it.

Yuo dont understand, the comment was fine when he made it because the drivers didnt EXIST until 3 HOURS after the post. Its like getting pissed at someone in 1850 for saying that you will never go faster than 20MPH, well guess what, you couldnt go faster than 20MPH in 1850, just like you cant get drivers that dont exist yet. So yeah, shut your face. :clap:
