Ok i have the choice of 2 different motherboards at the moment. I can have either the Asus P5K-E or the Asus P5E. I was hoping there would be more reviews of the P5E floating around but i have not found any yet and only have a couple days to make my mind up.
What the opinion guys?

I would recommend P5E... I received mine yesterday... It's not yet optimized, but more stable/and less hot (Mosfet, Chipset...) :)

I was leaning towards P5E but was worried about the Alluminium heatsinks. How comprehensive is the bios? Any chance of some screenies?
I should probably add i will be using it for my Q6600 G0
Cheers
i'm assuming you guys are in Europe since there is no sign of this board here in the US and by the looks on pricing, the P5E will be $200+ USD :(

Yeap... I'm in France.. I was also very surprised.. Normally, France is the last country available for IT products.. lol
cliffy - I posted some pictures on P5E thread.. :)

the P5E seems to have a beefier cooling solution even though it is aluminum, and it's also more future proof thanks to PCIe 2.0. So i guess the P5E is the way to go IMO.

seems like we're both going to have to pay $260 if we want one
besides, i don't plan on getting one anyways since i'm quite happy with my IP35-E that cost $70 USD :p:
