First Build. Enermax 1000k shows redd led but no fan or any other activity on any other components. Stripped of all unnecessary leads usb, front panel, hdd's cdrom etc. Only graphics, memory two sticks,CPU with fan. NFG!

I checked the connections to the P35-DQ6 and look good. I have the 24 pin(should only connect the correct way??), a 4x2 connector but I considered the molex additional connect to be optional as

"GA-P35-DQ6 Motherboard - 26 -
3) PCIE_12V (Power Connector)
This power connector can supply extra power to the PCI Express x16 slots on the motherboard.Connect the power supply cable to this connector when using two graphics cards. Failure to do so may lead to an unstable system."

CPU fan is in. What to do. Please help. Will not sleep until it least powers.

check the front panel header where the button plugs in , just in case you have it on the wrong header pins.

I removed all panel connections to eliminate possible problems. I just had a sinking feeling like I am nude on stage. Is a power reset needed to start the process??

Hi. Thanks. Did you ever see the movie 'A Few Good Men'. There is a line in there for Jack Nicholson where he says 'Well....Don't I feel like the :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::b anana:!'.
All I had to do was power up the motherboard.
Post Boot. On to the load.

Nice.

Thanks again.
