E2180 - is the multi locked?

as far as i know its locked in that you can't increase the multip. its a 10x that can be lowered at will but not raised above 10. only fully unlocked are on the extreme editions so stepping won't cause it to be unlocked (unless maybe you want to count an odd engi sample)

couldn't tell you honestly, i can toy with my 2140 if you'd like but i have to ask why would you want it that low?

All current C2Ds have a lowest multi of 6. You can't set anything lower than that.
