Hello everybody. I would like to pop a question here about using ITK to mod the bios. I would appreciate detailed replies or pointers on where to go for more info.

I have already the program running and loaded the bios into it. Its the latest bios for D975xbx2 version 2792. What i would like to understand is as follows;

1. What happens if I set the processor multiplier to say 12 or 14? Because default in the bios seems to be 14. I know that all the intel processors except Extreme series are downward locked. But I am trying to hypothesize here on what might happen.

2. What happens if i set the host burn in percentage to 1?

3. How long can I set the tRASmin value for the memory to be able to safely POST? Default seems to be 13.

4. Are there any other bios mods that i can perform on the bios itself that might unlock some hidden features?

Really appreciate all your replies. Btw, I will be upgrading the current cpu to Q6600. Memory will remain as Mushkin HP2-6400.
