I need som ehelp troubleshooting my IC7, which won't post now...
Spec:
- IC7-G vdimm modded
- 2.4C Prometeia cooled, now barebone for testing.
- Corsair XMS3200C2 2x512Mb
- Antec TP430

Problem is, no post or beeps.
The system was working great at 290FSB/3.5GHz, then a sudden restart, no warnings in Prime (were running it) or anything.
Enter BIOS, checked temp and voltages ok. Save Exit, no more post.

Things I've tried:
- Cleared CMOS, no go.
- Tried CPU in other mobo. CPU = OK
- Tried memory in other mobo. MEM = OK
- Only CPU, MEM, GFX, still no go.

I had some condensation in the socket area, but I cleaned it up.
I'll try my mobo with only aircooling now... Anything else I can check/try?

Anyone know where to monitor vdimm on the IC7? I guess that could be the problem... but then I don't now how the memory could survive...
Give me advice please! :)

Sorry that your having problems ! :(

Looks like you have tried just about everything, If you had a condensation problem it might take a while for it to completely dry. You might want to take a blowdryer and dry the socket with it. Also did you try different memory and cpu in the IC7 ??

Really boring, do you know what happend?

Found some more water around some resistors... :(
I'll set it up for aircooling right now...

It is working!!! Most have been that water on the resistors...
I guess I need to get some more tips on insulating the socket better...

I really don't like the IC7 to be honest... No good bioses yet, IMHO...
I can't diasble SI SATA or 1394 in 1.5, and 1.3 gives me other boot up problems...
Well... thanks for reading, back to the "lab" =)

Yes, forgot to write that... That's an other problem, my Corsair XMS3500C2 won't boot over 265FSB, no matter what.
Tried my brothers XMS3200C2... flawless going at 290FSB...

Thanks for taking your time anyway!

I tried 2.5-7-3-3, no go. You mean that faster timing would work better? Havn't tried that.
