Well i thought this was rather odd...
well i finally managed to get the copper heatsink off my Hurcules 9800 pro, and applied some Arctic Silver 3.
well the next day i decided to try overclocking again. Before I put on the Arctic Silver i was able to get about 420 core max without artifacting. So to my suprise after some adjusting i am now able to get the core up to 450 w/stock copper cooler!!!
Does this seem odd to anyone else? There was a lot of the original thermal paste on there, was that possibly inhibiting my overclocking? I also changed drivers to the Omega 2.4.6.0 from the Cat 3.5's but i don't think that would make any difference...
