Sup fellas, and fellettes.
I can run pretty high fsb when doing anything except 3dmark or games.
I can boot and run Sandra Mem benches at 230fsb 2-4-2-2. I can also boot at 2-3-2-2 up to 190fsb. Not sure if any of that is helpful info or not.
When I push over 185fsb, whether I am o/cing the cpu or not, it crashes when I am in windows. Not sure what is causing this. Sometimes it crashes to desktop, sometimes it reboots.
Maybe my rails?
Rig is in sig, and psu is True550.

you can boot and do stuff at higher fsbs with the same timings?
... sounds like a bug to me... maybe a bios prob? but you can run 190 without any probs for example?

i have a similar problem with my nf7-s i can bench sandra @230 but can do 3d only @220 but i dont think its a bug 3dmark and other 3d apps are simply harder on your system than sisoft and sutch but thats a hell of a difference in your case.

Try 2 2 7 2. I have found that tras is the oddest little setting with regards to stability.

I only listed the timings above to show that I do not think the ddr is flaky or anything.
I try running at all timings when going above 185...no luck for any 3dmark runs! I tried these:
2-2-4-2
2-2-5-2
2-2-6-2
2-2-7-2
2-2-5-3
2-2-6-3
2-2-7-3
2-3-5-3
2-3-6-3
2-3-7-3 <---- Settings recommended by Kingston @ 2.7v
Also tried the 2.5 and 3 timings...no help. Only runs 3dmark and games at 185 for some reason. I am in process of vmodding my psu to obtain higher and stable rails. Wish me luck!
I also have the vmem mod running and tried voltage up to 3.15 with no luck.
Like I said, I wasnt even concerned with a high o/c at the moment, just wanted to see how high the ddr would run and still complete 3dmark.
