Dam that is way too expensive. Corsair should have lower prices then OCZ, not like they perform that well.

If you are in Canada or the US http://www.ramstore.ca carries nothing but OCZ and had the RAM to my doorstep in 24 hours (Toronto->Ottawa). Im sure they will have the PC4000/4200 as soon as it becomes available.

I've always been a little bit "curious" about that place. It's called "Ramstore" but carries only OCZ products. I'm the owner of a business and I see websites and e-tailers making big profits off of my products. Like on a widget I make 5 dollars and the e-tailer makes 5 dollars. If I could sell DIRECT to the public WITHOUT P*ssing off my distributors, BOY! I would. By avoiding the middleman, profits DOUBLE. Nice.
So I've had the idea, set up a e-commerce site...sell my own product under a different phantom website, widgets.com
and make big bux...
How's it work, Ryan? lol

John from ramstore sells generic, spektek and ocz

He happens to own a distribution company that has sole disty rights to ocz in canada , so lucky him.

Hopefully soon we will be able to convince him to come work for us :-D the guy has the greatest service I have ever seen

Cool.
Yeah I was calculating the other day, if my sales dropped by 50% after moving all our products to an online store...Profits would STILL be up 30%! I wonder how a company like Swiftech gets away with having an online webshop...distributors don't like it when mfg. sell direct.

They charge a premium, the turn around time is not too hot, and they sell a lot of small spare parts not often carried by the distributors. Because of this they are the e "retailer" of last resort when consumers cannot find what they are looking for anywhere else. Accordingly, they steal very little sales from thier distributors.

If you look at any manufacturer that sells their product direct, their prices are usually higher than the retailers. Take HP for example, I was looking at printers the other week and HP had the highest prices anywhere.
